The Moto G release date is set for tomorrow, or at least that’s what the special website is suggesting. We weren’t supposed to know the smartphone’s technical specifications until tomorrow, but a German retailer has spilled the beans.
Since there were quite a few contradicting rumors talking about the technical specifications of the Moto G, we are more than glad to take a look at the specs list posted by The Phone House. Of course, unless the German retailer based its specs list on the rumors. Because the information was taken down pretty quick, we incline to believe that they were the real specifications.
The fortunate leak came to confirm what the rumor mill speculated for over a month: that the Moto G will feature a 4.5-inch LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1280. According to the retailer, the handset is underpinned by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, helped by 1 GB of RAM.
The leaked Moto G specs sheet also talked about 8 GB of internal storage, 5 MP primary camera, and a 1.2 MP user-facing camera. The handset is kept alive by a 2,070 mAh battery and it looks like HSPA+ connectivity will also be included. Unfortunately, there’s no word about LTE connectivity, nor about microSD support, contrary to what the rumors suggested.
While German retailer The Phone House took the Moto G down from their website, British retailer Tesco listed the said smartphone as available for £149 ($ 237 USD), off-contract.
The Moto G will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, at 9am EST during a launch event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil
