If Vertu’s first quest on the land of Android smartphones wasn’t your thing, maybe you will be into the new Vertu Constellation smartphone.
While most smartphone makers are racing in an attempt to build powerful or thin smartphones, the race on the luxury smartphone segment is pretty one sided.
Well, even though there are a couple of gold-plated and sapphire-encrusted iPhones out there, Vertu’s new smartphone is by far one of the most extravagant ones. Moreover, it runs Android, our favorite software platform.
The front panel of the new Vertu Constellation is dominated by a sapphire crystal layer sized 5.1-inches diagonally. The sapphire crystal coating protects a 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution. The smartphones body is made entirely from class 5 titanium, being twice more resistant than stainless still. The back is covered with coloured veal leather.
Under the expensive body of the Vertu Constellation you will find a Snapdragon chipset with dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait CPU and 32 GB of internal storage. The camera mounted on the back is a significant upgrade to the previous Vertu generations, now sporting a 13 MP sensor. The connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.
The new Vertu Constellation will leave the factory gates pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Because the Vertu flagship is a luxury smartphone it comes with some unique features like the Life application, which offers you access to different private clubs and events and Certainly, a software component responsibly for the smartphone’s security, which encrypts its content.
The standard price of the new Vertu Constellation toy will be of $ 6,630. What do you say about that?
