Of course, there were other dual-mode handsets such as the ZTE Grand Era, but those smartphone required the user to restart the phone in order to choose a distinct LTE standard. However, lit looks like the South Koreans have managed to solve this problem, and the technology will be implemented in its LTE variants of the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini, which will be released soon.
The Samsung officials also say that the current activity of the users won’t be interrupted when they switch over networks. In other words, all data sessions or voice calls will be hand over, which sounds absolutely splendid. This is a huge deal especially for the users who travel a lot as they will be allowed to take full advantage of the high speed data connection on the go, and the device’s will have the possibility to switch over to whatever connection has the most bandwidth available. And all of this without the users being required to reboot their smartphones.
As said, the technology will be implemented in the new versions of the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini. While, the company hasn’t specified and these smartphones will be available for purchase, we know that they will hit the worldwide markets from many regions such as the US, China, Australia, Middle East, Northern and Eastern Europe, and Southwest Asia, which means that everybody will have the possibility to get their hands on it.
