Nexus 7 is around us from more than year now, and we called it the sexiest and most robust tablet experience. Of course it is a brilliant tablet but it is out there from a long time now and the tablet market is really competitive. Although, we heard back in January that a new version is in the pipeline, and we heard about it last month as well. Now it seems it is around the corner as DigiTimes, one of the most reliable news sources, is reporting that second generation of Nexus 7 will land in market sometime in July in a 16GB version priced at US$ 229. Their source is further saying that:
As first-tier brand vendors have been trying to expand their sales through price cuts, Google is not looking to follow suit, but will instead focus on defending the US$ 199-249 segment of the 7-inch tablet market and target competitors such as Amazon and Apple, the sources said.
The second generation Nexus 7 will be launched as a mid-range Android tablet, hence the price of $ 200-250. If the next Nexus 7 comes out with better specifications and the mentioned price tag, would you consider buying it? Tell us about it in the comment box below.
